Rev. Lance King
Pastor
Lance is a graduate of Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond and Colorado State University. He is married to Tonya-a joy to the world! Together they enjoy life with their daughter and son. He enjoys anything with an internal combustion engine as well as camping, carpentry, and coffee. Lance joined Chestnut Grove in September 2006.  Previously he served as Associate Pastor for Discipleship, Outreach and Youth at a sister church in Richmond, VA.

Barbara Edwards
Minister to Children & Families
Barbara, along with husband Kenny and their three children joined Chestnut Grove in 2000.  In August 2010 Barbara joined our staff as Minister to Children and Families.  Barbara is a graduate of State University College at Oswego and Virginia Commonwealth University.  She recently retired with a total of 31 years in public education.  Barbara is currently enrolled with the John Leland Center for Theological Studies.  For more information about our children’s programs click here.

Katina Dudley & Steven Turner
Youth Ministers
Katina and Steven are a dynamic husband and wife youth ministry team.  They have attended Chestnut Grove since 1997. They joined our ministerial staff in August 2004. Katina and Steven are graduates of Longwood College and the University of Virginia, respectively. Katina is a teacher at Monticello High School, and Steven is also a teacher at Albemarle High School.  They have three children. Katie Alfano
Director of Music Ministries
Katie has been an active member of our Music Ministries since 1999. Originally from New York, Katie is a graduate of Adelphi University in Garden City. She joined our staff in January 2005 as the Director of Music Ministries. She and her husband Alan have three children. Laura Vinzant
Laura is our delightfully talented pianist. She accompanies our Adult  and Children’s choirs, in addition to the many smaller music groups that regularly lead worship at Chestnut Grove. She provides a seamless beauty that we so appreicate in our worship services. She is married to Schuyler. They have two beautiful daughters and a new son.

Ann Comarovschi
Administrative Assistant
Ann is the central hub of communications at Chestnut Grove.  A former business owner and entrepreneur, Ann very capably keeps the office in order, publications in print, and the congregation informed.  Ann and her husband enjoy caring for animals, gardening, home improvement, motorcycling and travel.
