Back to School 2009
August 23 begins a new season of youth ministry at Chestnut Grove and all teenagers in 7th-12th grade are invited to be a part of it. We will kick off the new year on Wednesday, August 19 with our rising seventh grade dinner. All rising seventh graders are invited to join Steven and Katina for dinner as we get to know each other and learn about all the Youth Program at Chestnut Grove has to offer. We’ll leave church at 5:30 pm for dinner at Golden Corral and return to the church around 7:30. If you’re interested in attending, please let us know.
On Sunday, August 23, seventh graders will be promoted to the youth Sunday School class and are welcome to join us for our Sunday evening gatherings at 6:30 and Wednesday evening Bible study at 6:30. This fall on Wednesdays, we’ll be engaging in a study on Prayer and how this discipline is a part of the Christian life.
