End of School/Beginning of Summer

The CGBC Youth had a busy but productive month of May.  Youth Sunday and the Follies were both great successes, and now we turn our attention toward summer.  Our original camp plan has been modified again, as Global Youth Ministry has cancelled their camp in North Carolina.  Our only other option for the summer is a location in Chatsworth, GA.  The drive will be a bit longer than anything we’ve done with our youth before, so we are planning to arrange charter transportation for safety reasons.  Because of this, the trip will be slightly more expensive than originally planned.  Final payments for camp will be about $100.00 and due by June 7.  An information packet will be coming soon in the mail. 

We are also planning to attend King’s Fest again this year at King’s Dominion on Thursday, July 9.  Jeremy Camp and Reliant K will be the headline concert for the evening and we will spend the day in the amusement park.  Total cost for this trip will be $55.00 plus meals.  Payment for this trip will be due on Sunday, June 21.
