Radical Ringers for the Lord
This handbell choir for those in grades 1-6 participates in several Worship Services throughout the year.
-Practices Mondays from 3:15 – 4:15 in the Music Office.
-Beginners welcome. No experience necessary.
Glorify!
The Adult Handbell Choir participates in both the 8:30 and 11:00 Worship Services on the fourth Sunday of every other month as well as special holiday services and church functions.
-For Adults and Youth (grades 7 and up.)
-Practices Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 in the Music Office.
Joyful Praise Singers
The children’s choir of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church is directed by Nicky Kwasnick and Christi Barker. The Joyful Praise Singers help lead worship in our new Children’s Worship Hour. Members also participate in our annual Christmas Play, Youth Follies and various church and community functions. Rehearsal time is divided between 1/2 hour of choir and 1/2 hour of interactive Bible study led by Barbara Edwards.
-Practices during LIFE Together Wednesday evening programs 6:30-7:30.
-For children currently in grades 1-6.
-New Members are always welcome!
Music Group for Him
The Music Group For Him offers a variety of praise, contemporary, country and traditional music.This is a group of vocalists and instrumentalists who are willing to make an earnest commitment of time and service. Members work together and in small groups to provide special music for the 8:30 and 11:00 Worship Service and various other special church services and functions.
-Practices Sunday evenings on the stage from 4:15-5:30.
-For vocalists and instrumentalists.
-New members always welcome.
Adult Choir
Singing traditional and contemporary music, the Adult Choir shares their songs in the 8:30 and 11:00 Worship Services and during special services throughout the year.
-For Adults and Youth (grades 7 and up.)
-Practices Wednesday evenings from 7:45-8:45
-The Adult Choir sings during the 11:00 Worship Service.
-New Members always welcome!
Blue Grace
Blue Grace is for those interested in praise and worship through Blue Grass Music. This group participates in several 8:30 and 11:00 Worship Services throughout the year as well as various community and church functions.
-For vocalists and instrumentalists.
- Rehearsal times vary – contact Kenny Williams for additional information.
Effervescent Praise
Effervescent Praise uses the expression of the human spirit through movement to praise God. We use the instinctive language of our hearts and minds and free our bodies to express emotions to bring glory to our Savior. Affiliation can be flexible as timing and group sizes are determined by specific music used.
-For first grade through adults.
