Winter 2008
As winter approaches, we wanted to give the church an update on some of the important events coming up in our youth program. All parents should look for a letter in the coming week. We’ve provided a guide for parents and youth to use as a devotional time together. Since we aren’t having a regular youth meeting on November 30, we’d like to encourage all youth and parents to spend some time together going through this guide during that time on Sunday night. If anyone else is interested, or if you do not get your letter, please contact us and let us know.
Our ski trip this year will be on January 2-5 at Massanutten. There are still a few spots left if you haven’t paid a deposit and would like to go, but spaces are filling, so please let us know soon.
We will celebrate our annual progressive dinner and gift exchange on Sunday night, December 7. Any youth or parents with questions about the event can contact Steven or Katina for details. We will meet at the church at 5:00 that evening.
We have also had a change of summer plans. We will still attend Global Youth Camp, but it will be located at Blue Ridge, NC and will happen on July 20-24.
