We have a wide variety of Music and Drama Ministries. From ukuleles to praise teams, handbells to a traditional choir, there are many and various opportunities to "make a joyful noise!" If you are interested in getting connected to a music group and sharing your gifts please contact Sheri Owen.

Below you can learn more about each of our groups. For other events check out our events page

Music Groups

The Adult Choir rehearses weekly at 6:30pm. This group prepares a wide range of choral anthems that are shared during Sunday morning worship.

The Alpha Praise Team and Omega Praise Team lead contemporary praise music at Chestnut Grove. What's the difference? Rehearsal times. Instrumentalist and vocalists welcome!

Chestnut Grove's Youth Praise Band is a self directed group that leads contemporary praise music in worship throughout the school calendar year. Instrumentalists and vocalists welcome!

Glorify! is the adult handbell choir of Chestnut Grove. This dedicated group of ringers prepares songs to share in worship throughout the year.

There are currently two Ukulele ensembles at Chestnut Grove. The Ukuleaders have more experience: the Beginner Ukulele group is for those just getting started. Both groups welcome players age 7 - 70.

The Radical Ringers for the Lord is the children's bell ensemble at Chestnut Grove. Ringers learn basic ringing techniques, music theory and a love for praising God with handbells.

Small Ensembles with a passion for Blue Grass, Dance or Instrumental music often share their musical offerings at Chestnut Grove.

If you are interested in participating in Chestnut Grove's Music Ministry, a short conversation with one of our directors will help you connect with a group that will best fit your abilities and interests. Contact Sheri Owen for more information.
