Our Children and Family Ministries nurture the gathering of families to celebrate God's love and grace. Children are a vibrant component of our congregation and we seek to raise them up in the way they should go, knowing they are loved and created in God's image. Children and families engage in Faith, Formation, and Fruitfulness through various experiences within our Children's Ministry. Weekly Schedule

Kaleidoscope Kids! - During our 10 AM worship gathering, we also host our children (2nd grade and under) for a time of children's worship called Kaleidoscope. Children are dismissed from the Upper Room with our ministry leaders for song, prayer, scripture … and the occasional snack.


Children's Formation Hour - (3 yrs-5th grade) Amy Gaertner and Christi Barker will lead our youngest Chestnut Grovians through age-specific times of reading, sharing, praying, and playing together..  


Children's Christmas Play Prep/Practice - (Kindergarten-5th grade)  - Starting October 6th, Amy Gaertner and Mimi Tornrose be shepherding our children toward Christmas as they sing, act, and learn how to share the wonderful Christmas story with us all!
